UI Designer Sr


Brief Summary

UI Designer Sr Performs complex work assignments and problem resolution across systems, processes, and channels. Develops and refines the user experience. Guides and facilitates teams in the identification, evaluation, and delivery of design solutions. Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Design or related field (or equivalent experience) • 6+ years relevant design experience • Working knowledge of web technology platforms, applications, and standards Requirements: • Sketch, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite and other industry-standard design tools • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS • Experience with low to mid-fidelity wireframing and prototyping • Knowledge of best practices in user experience design • Strong time-management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Exceptional soft skills, with a focus on: • Collaboration and communication with fellow design team members and cross-functional stakeholders (technology, business, product development) • Articulating design decisions from concept through final product • Storytelling to describe the problem-solving process and outcomes of a project Desired Skills: • Working knowledge of design concepts and design thinking techniques/methodologies • Designing with user research • Experience with Information Architecture in a complex, multi-system environment • Experience with Interaction Design • Experience utilizing a Design Language System • Experience working with Agile teams Job Duties: • Applies advanced knowledge of design across multiple product lines and channels. • Understands project scope, schedule, budget objectives and develops appropriate design deliverables • Builds relationships with business, IT and associated design and development points of contact. Serves as a design point of contact for stakeholders. • Serves as a subject matter expert for channel specific user experience design • Provides insight on project-related issues and serves as a resource to team members on escalated issues of an unusual nature
